David Ortiz was not the meant goal of a capturing within the Dominican Republic on June 9.
Lead prosecutor Jean Alain Rodriguez instructed reporters at a press convention Wednesday the meant goal was certainly one of Ortiz’s mates, not the Pink Sox nice.

The 43-year-old Ortiz was at a Santo Domingo bar the night time of June 9 when a suspect shot him at shut vary. To date, 11 folks have been taken into custody in reference to the capturing.
The retired Pink Sox star had been listed in “guarded” situation however was upgraded to “good” situation earlier this week. He underwent surgical procedure within the Dominican Republic following the capturing, and medical doctors eliminated his gallbladder and a part of his intestines. He was then transported to Boston.

Ortiz was a 10-time All-Star who led the Pink Sox to 3 World Sequence titles.
