Within the 44th recreation of the ICC World Cup, India outclassed Sri Lanka of their remaining group encounter with a complete seven-wicket win at Headingley on Saturday.
Sri Lankan skipper Dimuth Karunaratne gained the toss and elected to bat first. Angelo Mathews showcased some resistance after the top-order collapsed as he scored 113.

The Lankans posted a goal of 265 and in return, Rohit Sharma scored his third consecutive century. His knock of 103 was complemented effectively by his opening companion KL Rahul who scored his maiden World Cup century (111).
